2022 Winter THIS IS THE WAY THAT WE LOVE LIKE IT’S FOREVER 3월 18일 오후 1시, 서울공예박물관에서 본봄의 2022년 겨울22 컬렉션이 서울패션위크의 오프닝 쇼 무대에 선다. 3년만에 디지털에서 오프라인으로 전환되는 뜻깊은 이 순간에 본봄의 첫 패션위크 데뷔 컬렉션을 선보일 예정이다. 꾸튀르를 지향하는 본봄의 장인정신이 깃들어 있는 서울공예박물관의 감성이 만나 브랜드 고유의 디자인 철학과 DNA를 명확히 보여주려한다.
본봄의 겨울 22 컬렉션 ‘THIS IS THE WAY THAT WE LOVE LIKE IT’S FOREVER’의 주요 영감은 zoot suit와 sukevan이다. 1930년대 미국의 하위문화인 주트 슈트zoot suit. 이는 미국의 경제공황 당시 자재를 아껴야 한다는 국가 정책에 반해 많은 양의 원단을 사용하는 하이웨이스트와 큰 터크가 잡힌 와이드한 핏의 바지, 두툼한 어깨 패드를 넣은 기장이 긴 재킷과 코트 등으로 압축된다.
1970년대 일본의 하위문화 중 하나인 스케반sukeban은 일본의 여성 비행 청소년들을 일컫는 말로, 패션에서는 세일러칼라 교복이나 플리츠가 잡힌 롱스커트로 대표된다. 본봄은 그 두 집단들이 입던 옷과 옷을 입는 방식, 그리고 옷을 대하는 태도를 바탕으로 반항과 자유라는 공통의 이미지를 본봄 만의 펑키하고 미래적이고 관능적인 스쿨룩으로 재해석했다.
At 1 p.m. on March 18, BONBOM's 2022 Winter 22 collection will be released through the opening show stage of Seoul Fashion Week- held offline for the first time in three years at the Seoul Museum of Craft Art. As BONBOM’s first fashion week debut, it will show the brand's unique identity and DNA along with the season’s theme. The two factors that impressed a designer in the early days of BONBOM is the core inspiration of BONBOM’s Winter 22 collection “This is the way that we love it’s forever”.
The first is Zoot suit, one of the sub-cultures in the United States in the 1930s, and the other is Sukeban, one of the Japanese cultures in the 1970s. The history and feature of Zoot suit stands against the national policy of saving materials during the U.S. economic crisis. In support of its stance, people wear high-waist, large-tuck wide-fit pants, and long jackets and coats with thick shoulder pads that use a large amount of fabric. Sukeban- a word that stands for female delinquent youths in Japan, is represented in fashion by sailor-collar school uniform and a long skirt with pleats. Based on the clothes that they wear, the way they dressed themselves, and the attitude toward the clothes they were wearing, BONBOM reinterpreted the rebellion and the freedom into futuristic and sensual teenager school look.
